Welcome to my website. I have been doing photography since 1996 which was my senior year in high school. I took photography as an elective class and it bloomed into much more. I recieved my associates in Photography and Digital Imaging from Richland Community College in 2001. Since then, I have worked along side several photographers in the Dallas and East Texas areas as well as working for a nationally known portrait studio. In 2006 I ventured out on my own and started up Scott Alan Photography as a part time business. As of May 1st 2011 I opened Studio 7 in Longview to help better serve my clients with studio portraits. Studio 7 is also available to other photographers in the area to rent by the hour. Now the part time business is growing and each year and month it's becoming more and more a full time blessing (job).


I specialize in wedding photography and help build portfolios for clients. I also have pricing options for high school seniors, children, and families.

Lighting Workshops, Classes, & Photography Lessons

I am also available to teach others about photography. I hold small workshops once or twice a year to teach about digital SLR cameras, studio lighting, as well as lighting outside and on location.
